Daryl A. Palmer
Daryl A. Palmer is an Attorney-at-Law who is qualified to practice law in Jamaica and Australia. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and qualified Compliance professional.
Daryl has over 15 years of experience spanning media, banking, insurance, hospitality, business processing industry and telecommunication. He has been conducting training and sensitization sessions in Data Privacy and Data Protection and has been providing guidance to individuals and organizations on how they may meet the Compliance standards under the Data Protection Act. He has also facilitated training sessions for the Jamaica Institute of Financial Services.
Daryl also has bachelor degrees in Media and Communication (Bachelor of Arts) and Law (Bachelor of Laws) and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Compliance from the International Compliance Association in association with the Manchester Business School. He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, University of London, the Leo Cussen Institute for Law in Melbourne, Australia and the Norman Manley Law School.
