Jason Kravitz is a partner in Nixon Peabody’s Boston office and currently leads the firm’s Cybersecurity & Privacy practice group. Previously, he co-led the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group and has extensive experience running and trying high-stakes patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, false advertising, and software implementation disputes. Jason is also the founder and co-host of, “A Little Privacy, Please!”, a video interview series that highlights privacy topics business leaders need to prepare against and respond to the latest cyberthreats.

Jason is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) who routinely helps clients respond to cyberattacks – including ransomware attacks, business email compromises, and funds transfer frauds – and litigates single-plaintiff and class-action cyber/privacy disputes, including TCPA claims. He is an experienced and highly effective trial lawyer and has proudly represented Nobel laureates in two unrelated patent cases. Jason has also represented clients in disputes pertaining to ownership of IPv4 address blocks and argued Markman, summary judgment, and injunction hearings in dozens of courts. He represents clients in administrative proceedings and before the Federal Trade Commission. He graduated from the Boston University School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the Washington University. Various legal publications have recognized Jason as a leading intellectual property attorney, including World Trademark Review, The Legal 500 and The Best Lawyers in America
